This week Ballyheada NS hosted our inaugural “Positive Mental Health Week”.
Each class participated in activities to promote resilience and engage in strategies which promote positive wellbeing including mindfulness, discussing positive affirmations, engaging in random acts of kindness etc.
On Friday 28th January the whole school assembled in the yard to make a sun formation, reflective of the message: “darkness into light”.
One of our sixth class pupils displayed his expertise in flying a drone overhead to capture the image of the sun formation.
